Pakistani authorities admitted to safe havens of terrorist bases in its territory and promised to help Afghanistan breaking them down.
“Wais Ahmad Barmak, the interior minister and Masoom Stanekzai, chief of national directorate of security who went to Islamabad to present evidence that recent Kabul terrorist attacks were organized in Pakistani soil, said: “Pakistani authorities have confessed that recent terror attacks were organized in their territory.”
These officials described their talks with Pakistani top officials constructive, saying: “Pakistani authorities promised to act against terrorist centers in their territory on the basis of the evidence and will report to the Afghan government.”
A senior Pakistani delegation is scheduled to travel to Kabul on Saturday, and the Afghan government will provide them with more documents on the presence terrorist agents in Pakistan’s soil.
