Ghazni representatives in Wolesi Jirga accused the government of ignoring the people of the province, warning the province will completely fall to Taliban insurgents.
Representatives of Ghazni province strongly expressed concerns over Taliban activities in the province.
“The security situation of the province is critical and districts are handed between the security forces and Taliban fighters every day,” said Shahgul Rezayee, Ghazni representative.
“After the fall of Ajristan, Jeghatu and Deh Yak districts, now, Andar, Qara Bagh, and Zankhan districts of Ghazni province are also under serious threats,” Ms Rezayee added.

In response to the concerns of the representatives, the parliament’s speaker Abdul Rauf Ebrahimi said the parliamentary committee has decided to impeach the security officials next Monday.
This comes as security officials have been called to answer the parliament three times in one month; but it was not effective.
