During past two years, the ISIL terrorist group has taken responsibility for several deadly terrorist attacks that have targeted Shiite mosques in Kabul and their gathering, killing or wounding scores of people.

According to the report, Non-Muslim minorities in Afghanistan, including Hindus, Christians and Sikhs, are also at risk and cannot openly conduct their religious rituals.
