NATO Secretary General Jens. Stoltenberg during a press conference on Tuesday with president Ghani called on all countries in the region to play a constructive role in Afghanistan and deny safe haven to extremist groups.
NATO Secretary General Jens. Stoltenberg said: “I call on all countries in the region to play a constructive role in Afghanistan and deny safe haven to extremist groups.”
“it’s important to send a clear message to the Taliban to think about peace rather than war, because they can’t win through war,” Stoltenberg added.

NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg thanked Afghan forces for their bravery, adding that the alliance will support Afghan forces especially the special units and air forces.
Stoltenberg says Afghan forces played key role to secure elections. “we hope that the election process is finalized successfully, NATO wants to see a successful Afghanistan, we train, assist and support Afghan forces. We don’t want Afghanistan to be a place for terrorists”.

He continued: “NATO will continue to stand by Afghanistan, because peace is essential to all of us.”
“we will crush the terrorists,” he added.
