President Ghani’s special envoy on regional affairs for peace consensus left Kabul for Germany on Sunday morning.
The high peace council (HPC) said in a statement that M. Omer Daudzai, who is also head of HPC secretariat, heads to Germany to facilitate the peace process.

“In Germany, he will meet with German officials in regard to the peace process in Afghanistan,” said the statement.
According to the statement, Mr Daudzai will visit India after wrapping up meetings in Germany.

This would be the first time that Mr Daudzai travels to Germany and India since he was appointed as HPC secretariat.
