Taliban spokesman person Suhail Shaheen says that a delegation of this group led by the co-founder Mullah Baradar will arrive in Islamabad Wednesday too.

A delegation led by Mullah Baradar Akhund will arrive in Islamabad on October 2, twitted Shaheen, adding that “they will discuss a range of key issues there.”
This would be the Taliban’s fourth round of trip after the US president Donald Trump stalled the talks due to the group’s denial of ceasefire.

This comes as Pakistani Foreign Ministry announced in a statement that US special envoy on the Afghan peace process Zalmay Khalilzad has arrived in Islamabad.
